LightXtreme VPN Terms and Acceptable Use

These terms set out how a LightXtreme VPN account works, from signing up and paying through to running the client and the after-sales help that follows. The style is deliberately practical: a subscription is counted one way, refunds are granted on one basis, and the boundary between acceptable and unacceptable use is listed openly. Downloading, installing or using the client means you accept these terms.

1. What the service promises

LightXtreme VPN accelerates traffic across regions while guarding your privacy, shipping clients for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux together with browser extensions, with over 2,000 servers placed in more than 70 countries and regions and the client revealing the nodes that are available.

Free trial and subscriptions

The first download includes a 30-minute free trial, and from that point the service is a subscription where each plan lets a single account run on 3 devices at once.

How to pay

You may pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, the plan turns on as soon as the payment is accepted, and the settling time follows the payment route you used.

2. When money comes back

There is a 30-day money-back guarantee, and inside those 30 days from activation a refund can be requested from the client or by email with a short note on how the service worked, after which the plan ends, while subscriptions older than 30 days or already partly consumed are not refundable unless the law requires otherwise.

Compensation for downtime

Should prolonged connection failures originate on our servers and reach us quickly, adding time to your subscription is how we make good for the trouble.

3. Fair use

Using the service means respecting local law and the network usage rules that apply to you, and never using LightXtreme VPN for anything unlawful, including but not limited to:

  • attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
  • bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
  • transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
  • using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.

Where these conditions are ignored we can suspend the account, remove functionality or close it, and behaviour of a serious kind may be taken to law.

4. Who owns the material

The client, the website content, the interface, the icons and the word marks belong to LightXtreme VPN and the rights holders behind them, and reproducing, altering, decompiling, redistributing or selling any part of it requires written permission, while the personal data you create during lawful use remains your own.

Product revisions

Functionality, node layout, plan prices and promotions may be revised at times, and the current version always lives on this website, with advance notice whenever a revision affects the rights attached to a plan and with existing customers keeping the earlier terms until their paid period finishes.

What is not covered

Within the limits the law allows, LightXtreme VPN is not answerable for lost connections or shifts in speed caused by force majeure, a carrier problem or a change in local policy, and because a VPN changes the route your traffic takes, some sites may block traffic that arrives through a VPN.
